


Coaches Award
Awarded to players in each competition team, these players are selected by the Coach and their team staff. The Coaches award selection criteria may differ from Coach to Coach but players selected for this award may have demonstrated the following:

Adherence to the Dragons Values

Playing performance over the season

Commitment and effort made during games
-
Willingness to listen and learn
-
A player that shows commitment and genuine interest in their skill advancement

Demonstrates good sportsmanship on and off the field
Best and Fairest
At the end of each season, each competition team coach will select one player from their team to receive a Best & Fairest Award. The award is given is given for overall performance and contribution to the team throughout the year based on the following:

Playing contribution to the team (i.e. a ‘for the team’ and not an individual playing contributor to the team)

Adheres to the Dragons Values

Commitment and effort to the team
-
Social contributor to the team (i.e. a good team person)

A player that regularly attends training and weekly games
-
Courteous to fellow team mates and officials
-
Mindful of others players’ needs
-
A player that shows keen interest in advancing their skills
-
A player that shows commitment and genuine interest in the game
-
Shows good sportsmanship by accepting referee decisions during games and coaches decision in position placements each week
Most Valuable Player
At the end of each season, each competition team coach will select one player from their team to receive a Most Valuable Player Award. The award is given is given for overall performance and contribution to the team throughout the year based on the following:

Owns their mistakes
